Contact attempt inspections help servicers to reach out to borrowers.
With contact attempt inspections, approximately three (3) attempts are made by inspectors for a servicer or lender to provide defaulting borrowers with an offer of assistance and contact information. The contact attempts are scheduled to take place at different times of the day at intervals of 24-hours to increase the odds of making contact. It might interest you to know that inspectors would not try to gain access into the interior of the property during contact attempt inspections. You can get expedited services on a 24, 48 or 72-hour schedule.
